Meet Scarlett.

While working as a physical therapist, Scarlett saw the benefits of using Pilates in the rehabilitation of her patients. With her rehab experience, she can adapt and modify exercises based on each client’s needs and work with them to achieve their fitness goals while maximizing their performance.

Scarlett graduated from UK in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a master’s degree in Physical Therapy.  She began her physical therapy career at the University of Kentucky Medical Center where she worked in acute care for 6 years before transitioning to out-patient therapy.  She has also worked in Out-Patient PT/OT and Sports Medicine rehab at UK.  After moving to South Carolina, Scarlett was the manager of an out-patient orthopedic clinic.  While working as a physical therapist, she saw the benefits of using Pilates in the rehabilitation of her patients.  She started her Pilates training through Stott Pilates and later returned to complete her doctorate in physical therapy at UK.  She completed her Pilates certification in 2010 and became Stott certified in rehab for matwork and reformer.  She is currently pursuing the athletic conditioning specialty track.  With her rehab experience, she can adapt and modify exercises based on each client’s needs and work with them to achieve their fitness goals while maximizing their performance.
